Rav Yehoshua and Malki Asulin

Johannesburg, South Africa (previously served in Melbourne, Australia)

“Rabbi Yehoshua and Malki Asulin arrived in South Africa during the height of the COVID pandemic, and from the day they landed their warm and magnetic personalities instantly brought the spark of light and Torah to our community when it needed it most.

Over the years we have had the privilege of bringing many Rabbanim from Israel, but the quality of the graduates of the Selwyn & Ros Smith and Family Manhigut Toranit Program, both in terms of their depth of knowledge and commitment to community are without any parallel and beyond anything we have seen before. It is a true privilege for our community to have the Asulins and the impact that they are making will leave an impact for many years to come.”

Manhigut Toranit has started a revolution. The Torah knowledge, vision and leadership of the graduates is changing the face of our community.

- Rabbi Andrew Shaw, Chief Executive, Mizrachi UK

These graduates have had a monumental impact on our community. They are true Talmidei Chachamim – first-grade scholars – who are able to connect with our students and our families and serve as leaders throughout our community. We cannot thank you enough.

- Rabbi Seth Grauer, Rosh Yeshiva, Yeshivat Or Chaim, Toronto

It has been a privilege to study Tzurba M’Rabanan over the past three and a half years. The halachic sources are diverse, the topics are fascinating and the Rabbi was always open to deal with questions raised by those in attendance.

- Kenny Brand, Participant, Tzurba M’Rabanan shiur, London

We feel so blessed to have graduates of Manhigut Toranit as a truly incredible addition to our rabbinic team. Their contribution has been enormous in such a short space of time, and we can only imagine what the future holds for them and for us.
